Ed Etzel – Chairman
As the co-founder and Chairman of NetForce Global, Ed Etzel has maintained an active role in defining the company’s growth and direction. Mr. Etzel’s emphasis at NetForce Global on quality, innovation, and efficiency has allowed the company to grow rapidly to become a leader in wholesale international background screening.
Having previously held senior level positions in Fortune 500 Companies, Ed is a seasoned sales and operations executive with an outstanding track record of leadership and accomplishment—both in domestic and international environments.
Prior the launch of NetForce Global, he was the Vice President of Worldwide Sales at HireRight. Additionally, he has held the position of Vice President and General Manager of Worldwide Sales at Intermec, and the Americas Software Sales Manager at Hewlett Packard.
Ed earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, a Masters of Business Administration and a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior.

Ed Maier – President & CEO
Ed Maier joined NetForce Global in April 2017 as the Chief Revenue Officer. As the Chief Revenue Officer, Ed was responsible sales and for developing new business opportunities in international background screening. He was promoted to President in June of 2019 and to CEO in January of 2020.
Prior to joining NetForce Global, Ed spent over 20 years in the high-tech industry, leading multi-national software development teams and driving global resource planning for Fortune 500 companies, including PayPal, Google, Motorola, AOL and Netscape.
During this time, he was responsible for strategic planning, business operations, product management and program management. Ed leverages his technology experience to keep NetForce Global on top of emerging trends that will shape the future of the background screening industry.
Ed earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Intercultural Communication from San Francisco State University.

Fred Giles – Corporate Board Member
Fred is an industry veteran with over 30 years’ experience as a senior executive with leading background companies. Fred has also served in leadership positions with NAPBS including Chair of the Government Relations Committee and as a Past Chair of NAPBS itself. Currently, he serves on the Finance and Leadership Development Committees, and on the Background Screening Credentialing Council which oversees the NAPBS Accreditation program.
Fred has also earned the Certified Protection Professional (CPP) designation from ASIS, is a licensed private investigator and a former law enforcement officer in Chapel Hill, NC.
Fred earned a Bachelor Degree from Syracuse University and completed numerous in-service training courses at the North Carolina Justice Academy.

China Gorman – Corporate Board Member
China Gorman was appointed to NetForce Global’s Corporate Board on September 12, 2018. She is a successful global business executive in the competitive Human Capital Management (HCM) sector.
Well known for her tenure as CEO of the Great Place to Work® Institute, COO and interim CEO of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and Global President of Lee Hecht Harrison (division of Adecco), China works with HCM organizations all over the world to enhance their brands and their go-to-market strategies.
China has and does sit on several corporate boards. She brings a wealth of international experience in Human Capital Management and marketing to NetForce Global’s Corporate Board.
Ms. Gorman is the author of the popular blog Data Point Tuesday and is published and frequently quoted in media properties like Fortune, TLNT, Huffington Post, Inc., Fast Company, U.S. News & World Report, HR Magazine and many others.

Greg Prow – Corporate Board Member
Greg Prow was appointed to NetForce Global’s Corporate Board on September 12, 2018. Mr. Prow has more than 35 years of corporate, operations, tax and public accounting experience and a proven track record of leadership in the tax and software industries.
While with EY Greg was the Global Technology Executive for the Global Compliance and Reporting Practice. In this role, he managed the technology used by the practice for all regulatory compliance filings in roughly 160 countries around the world.
Prior to joining EY, Greg was the Group Vice President of Tax at Rimini Street, where he led a team that provided all required tax, legal and regulatory updates to Rimini Street-supported products around the world. Mr. Prow brings his extensive experience in global compliance to NetForce Global.
Mr. Prow holds a J.D. from Santa Clara University and is a member of the California and American Bar Associations.
